Affiliate Black Book Leaked?
Earlier today, X decided to leak a little bit of the Affiliate Black Book. He did it via Twitter. If you’re not following him on Twitter, get over there now and follow him. Here’s a link:
I’m no Twitter expert, but I’m pretty sure if you follow him, you can retrace his posts. One valuable piece of advice that he leaked is bidding on the names and authors of products as keywords. When people are searching for the names of products, they are generally ready to buy (or at least pretty far along in the buying cycle).
X did caution about doing this in the IM field. I’ve found that most marketers in the IM niche are already hip to this now. Competing on names of products can get pretty pricey. Can it still be profitable? In my experience, yes…but more often than not it can turn into a wash. Here’s a glimpse of what X said:
